The CHORE TIME Clydesdale Experience is a real-life, hands-on, 2-hr Clydesdale experience at JFP Equine - a small (but mighty), private Clydesdale farm in Waterloo, IL (approx. 25 mins from 270/55).
Get hands on with everything from brushing and vacuuming Clydesdales to feeding and treating, in micro groups of no more than four for maximum experience!
(Just don’t take the ‘CHORE TIME’ name too seriously though … it’s as much about snuggling, petting and having fun with this iconic breed as it is about ‘chores.’)
Plus, multiple opportunities to take some of the most memorable - and braggadocious - photos you can think of.

CHORE TIME is $99/person (max. of four participants per group). This includes:
-An introduction and meet n’ greet with all Clydesdales on site (typically anywhere from 4-8)
-A hands-on caretaking experience that includes feeding, grooming, decorating, loving, and yes, even a bit of manure forking (because everyone should say that they have forked a bit of Clydesdale manure in their lives, right?)
-Learning about the Clydesdale breed with tons of ‘Gentle Giant’ fun facts
-Multiple, up-close-and-personal photo opportunities with JFP Equine’s world-class Clydesdales

Each ‘Chore Time’ experience is approx. two hours.

Typically a minimum age of 12 is recommended, however younger can be accommodated inside of a private group of four or under special circumstances. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by, and have their waiver completed by, their parent or legal guardian.

Yes, all participants must complete a CHORE TIME waiver prior to participation. Any participant under the age of 18 must have their waiver completed by, and be accompanied by, their parent or legal guardian.

Our world-class Clydesdales take part in several events around the St. Louis region and beyond. They also need training and rest/relaxation days. So, our ‘Chore Time’ experience can only be offered on select days.
If you have your own group of 4, contact us for your own private CHORE TIME event on a weekend/weekday of your choice (ltd availability).
